The 6-person Betelberg gondola, located to the right as you gaze out to the end of the valley, brings you directly from the town to the middle station, Stoss, and on up to the top station, Leiterli. From the top station of Leiterli, the entire right-hand side of the valley is accessible for hikes.

Arrival with the Lötschberger Train

The cable car to Metsch is located on the way to the Simme Falls on the left side of the valley. The aerial tram brings you from the valley to Metsch, from which point you can explore the entire Bühlberg-Metsch area. The views of the Wildstrübel and Wildhorn chain are nothing short of stunning from there.

Descent: 8:45 am – 12:25 pm and 1:05 pm – 5:00 pm

Arrival with the Lötschberger Train

From the Stockhorn’s 2190 m summit, you will enjoy a fantastic view out over lakes of Thun and Brienz, over the Simme River Valley, and across the rolling hills of the Bernese Plateau. The Stockhorn lift makes that all possible. Take the cablecar up to the midstation, Chrindi, or all the way up to the top of the Stockhorn.
