Along the Simme
Fishing from the riverbank is possible from Wimmis to Lenk. Discover numerous bends and spots along the river that are ideal to enjoy nature and experience relaxation.

Fishing licenses and regulations are available at every tourist office in the Simmental.

Iffigsee (Lenk)
The small, steel-blue, idyllic mountain lake lies at 2060 meters. You reach the Iffigsee after a 1.5 hour hike from Iffigenalp. Depending on the weather and snow conditions, this lake can remain frozen until the end of May.

Licenses are available at the Bergrestaurant Iffigenalp (May-October) or at the mountain hut at the lake, itself, in July and August.

Hinter- und Oberstockensee (Stockhorn)
Take the gondola up to the middle station, Chrindi, and then choose your spot somewhere along the shores of one of these mountain lakes. If you’d like to work up an appetite, extend your reach into the idyllic landscape by enjoying a nearby hike.

Fishing licenses are available at the base station of the gondola.
